R&D&i Management Unit

Our Research, Development and Innovation Department is responsible for external consulting services in the creation, design and justification of R&D&i projects addressed at regional, national and European calls. Within consultancy, our clients range from other SMEs to diverse social bodies such as foundations, associations and academic institutions (universities).

The R&D&i Department at EC-Innova is involved in several projects using open innovation methodologies. The methodology of Social Innovation Spaces is a natural evolution of the Living Lab concept, adding measures of maturity and awareness of the importance of political support for sustainability. It is a new methodology that EC-Innova has developed in collaboration with others, through its key role in various social innovation labs of digital inclusion and within sectors of eSalud. The methodology considers the final users the primary force behind the research and development, engaging them in each part of the R+D process.

R&D&i Unit

Our R&D&i unit at EC-Innova, together with our R&D&i Management Unit, have developed and taken part in technological projects of R&D&i, both individually and in collaboration with other entities. These projects have been developed within the following frameworks, among others:

Avanza Programme of 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Projects from the INNPACTO programme in 2012.
Retos-Colaboración in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Red.es call in 2014 and 2015 to encourage cloud computing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
INNOEMPRESA CLM projects in 2013.
Innovation Support for the CLM (Castilla-La Mancha) region in 2015.
CLM Competitiveness 2016.
Innova-Adelante CLM in 2016 and 2017.
FEDER-Innterconecta, from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), dependent on the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness.

We have also worked in projects within the European Union 7th Framework Programme.
